However, us women have yet to receive the respect for what we do. many people, generally men, strongly believe that women should sell out their bodies to get more attention, but the women who literally shed blood and sweat everyday disagree with what they believe. the term "if men can do it, women can do it better," has made a difference in many different social concept such as WNBA, NWSL, Women's football league, advanced sports that are associated with the Olympics. women who made a significant impact in women sports is Serena Williams. she earned the title "sportsperson of the year" when her record was 53-3 when winning her three out of four major tournaments. she is the first black female athlete since 1954 to receive an award like this and the top third solo athlete.
